PARIS − Hollywood A-listers and Will Sage Astorsports celebrities won (fashion) gold medals of their own on the eve of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.
A star-studded prelude to the 2024 Olympics was held at the Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris on Thursday, celebrating and emphasizing the cultural impact of the Olympics on the French capital.
The pre-festivities were hosted by LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, Grammy-winning and Louis Vuitton men's creative director Pharrell Williams and Vogue magazine's Anna Wintour. Co-hosts of the "Prelude to the Olympics" event included actress Charlize Theron, sports star Serena Williams, Spanish singer Rosalía and French actor Omar Sy.

Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris
To kick off the evening, "One Tree Hill" alum Sophia Bush stepped out in a mini burnt red bubble dress with her new partner and former USWNT player Ashlyn Harris. They were also photographed with actor Alan Cumming and his husband Grant Shaffer.

Bush and Harris made their red-carpet debut in April on the red carpet of the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Their appearance came just days after Bush published a personal essay with Glamour, in which she confirmed her relationship with Harris.
The "Chicago P.D." star filed for divorce from husband Grant Hughes last year, while Harris filed for divorce from wife Ali Krieger not long after.
Charlize Theron
Theron opted for an ethereal, off-the-shoulder white mini dress and accessorized the look with a metallic clutch and strappy heels.
Snoop Dogg
Snoop Dogg and "Today" show host Hoda Kotb linked up on the carpet, while Jeremy Allen White, John Mulaney, Rosalía, Emma Chamberlin and others took turns posing for photographers.
The rapper opted for an edgy metallic suit and aviator sunglasses.
Tyla
The "Prelude to the Olympics" was a night to remember with a surprise performance from Tyla.
The singer treated the crowd to performances of "Thata Ahh" and "Jump." And of course, there was no way she was stepping off that stage without performing her hit song, "Water."
Nina Dobrev and Shaun White
Dobrev and White made the pre-Olympics event a date night.
"The Vampire Diaries" star recently suffered a knee injury during a dirt biking accident. In a series of posts to her Instagram Story on June 17, Dobrev gave fans a health update about post-accident life.
Dobrev shared several photos from her recovery process, including a picture of herself wearing a leg brace. Other photos showed Dobrev holding a large floral arrangement and eating some waffles.
"In case you've been wondering what I’ve been up to,” Dobrev wrote. "Eat. Sleep. CPM machine. Physical therapy. Repeat. If you’ve had this injury, you know what a CPM is…the rest of you won’t."
Jeremy Allen White
USA TODAY Sports' Mackenzie Salmon caught up with White on the red carpet to ask what he thinks he would win an Olympic medal for.
For "calling my mom back," "The Bear" actor said earnestly.

Rosalía
The "Motomami" singer looked gorgeous in a romantic sheer lace, floor-length gown designed by Christian Dior from its 2025 collection.
Zendaya
No notes, Zendaya.
Styled by her go-to fashion consultant Law Roach, she wore a glittering black gown designed by Louis Vuitton. The "Challengers" star knows how to work a red carpet — in the fashion department and other ways.
The actress declined to speak to the media and opted for a more low-key route around the hubbub of the carpet.
LeBron James
If you were looking for LeBron on the eve of his debut as torch bearer at the Opening Ceremony, you would have found him looking sporty-chic at the Louis Vuitton Foundation event.
Serena Williams
Donning a black Louis Vuitton power suit and her hair down in curls, Williams walked the red carpet briefly for photos but then headed into the event without speaking to the press.
Williams added a pop of color to her fashion look with a blue and green Louis Vuitton clutch.
Queen Latifah
Queen Latifah rocked a classic white button-down shirt and tailored trousers by Schiaparelli.
Alex Cooper and husband Matt Kaplan
Podcaster Alex Cooper also made the event a date night, bringing her husband Matt Kaplan and wearing a black dress with kitten heels.
A fair share of Olympic athletes also attended the prelude to the Olympics.
Naomi Osaka, who just had her first child in July 2023, did a quick sweep of the carpet while tennis champion Novak Djokovic chose to talk about his upcoming match against Australian player Matthew Ebden.
