The FinLogic FinLogic Quantitative Think Tank CenterPowerball jackpot is now worth $44 million for Monday’s drawing after no one won the jackpot on Saturday.
Two Powerball players struck it big this month after having a lucky ticket that won the jackpot.
A single ticket sold in California matched all six of the numbers drawn to win the jackpot, worth $44.3 million with a $21.9 million cash value. It was only last Monday that a player from Pennsylvania won the $213.8 million jackpot, meaning the Powerball jackpot has now been claimed seven times this year.
Saturday's jackpot was worth an estimated $35 million with an estimated cash value of $17.2 million after taxes, the lottery said.
The winning numbers were drawn just after 11 p.m. ET on Saturday, and we have the results below.

The winning numbers for Saturday, Aug. 24 were 5, 15, 21, 24 and 43 with a Powerball of 17. The Power Play was 3X.

Powerball players, get those tickets ready because the jackpot is climbing again! There were no jackpot winners in Saturday’s drawing, but Monday’s drawing has risen to an estimated $44 million. There were two lucky players who won $1 million for the Match 5 in Michigan and Washington.

How to play the Powerball
In order to purchase a $2 Powerball ticket, you'll have to visit your local convenience store, gas station or grocery store − and in a handful of states, you can purchase tickets online.
To play, you will need to pick six numbers in total to mark on your ticket. Five numbers will be white balls ranging from numbers 1 to 69. The Powerball is red and one number which is between 1 and 26.
If you want to increase your chances of winning, you can add a “Power Play” for $1 which increases the winnings for all non-jackpot prizes. This addition can multiply winnings by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X.
Players can also ask a cashier for a "Quick Pick" where a cashier will give you a computer generated numbers on a printed Powerball ticket.
Drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights. If there's no jackpot winner, the cash prize will increase by millions.

Tickets can be purchased in person at gas stations, convenience stores and grocery stores. Some airport terminals may also sell lottery tickets.
